I want a MiniMac!

Okay, I’ll be the first to admit it, I have no real reason or use forit, but I want a MiniMac. Having a computer that I can easily hold in one hand, running OsX just seems cool for some reason. But I can’t tell my wife, ‘No, we can’t pay for the kids to go to soccer’ and then turn around and say ‘Can I buy a MiniMac?’ I still want one anyways.

Ps. I know it’s properly called a Mac Mini, but MiniMac sounds better to me.

    Its sounds hokey, but freeminimacs.com is giving them away as long as you can talk ten of your friends into signing up for a crappy credit card. I started this but quickly realized none of my friends were up for it. I can’t blame them.

    “minimac” has some nice subliminal pointer to the Austin Powers movies (Mini-Me).

    I’ve been watching MTV’s ‘The Surreal Life’ lately, and this season includes Vern Troyer (the actor who played the aforementioned Mini-me.) And the connection was at least partially conscious.
